Personal Development
The previous year may have been unbelievable for you, in a good way. It may have been one for the record books. A year where prayers were answered, dreams came true, and exciting changes took place. Or, it may have been a year where you feel nothing worked out in your favor. It may have been a year you don't care to look back on at all. A year of confusion and chaos, dreams were delayed, and you just couldn't seem to get it going. Whether you find yourself on either end of the spectrum or somewhere in between, don't waste what happened in 2017. Learn from it. As you look back, be thankful for the good, the bad, and the ugly. They all played their part in helping you grow. The good is a reminder that you are talented, you are capable, and things can go as planned. The bad is a reminder that you do have weaknesses, you do need help, and there is plenty of room to grow. And the ugly is a reminder that there are things you can't control, but you are a survivor, and you're still here ready to fight for what you believe in. Above all else, I hope you can look back and see that God was with you through it all. My prayer is that what you learned in the previous year drives you to deeper levels of dependence on God's Word, encourages you to dream bigger dreams, pushes you to move toward your fears, and challenges you to love people more patiently and passionately than ever before. My friend, 2018 has something special waiting for you. I hope you decide to get out and go get it! Love you guys. Let's grow. JT Are we connected on Facebook?
