Personal Development, Faith
When we ask for more, we have to understand it may come in the form of subtraction... instead of addition. There are times we want something added to our lives, when really what we need is something taken out of our life. I was never all that good at math (maybe you've heard me share a few stories before?), but I can look back at my life and see how God answered prayers, working out addition by way of subtraction. For example, I remember wanting so bad to write my first book in 2014. I couldn't see how it would be possible with all that I was doing. I can even recall the feeling of anxiety I had come over me when I considered taking time away from building my network marketing business so that I could write, because I knew I couldn't afford to slow down. And then, I ruptured my left Achilles tendon, leaving me no choice but to slow down. Immediately following (literally), a dating relationship I was in came to a close. Needless to say, I was limited on what I could do and where I could go for a period of time. Much of my book was completed during that season of subtraction and frustration, and my business center continued to produce a steady income. What about you? Can you relate? Has something (or someone) in your life been taken away, but you can clearly see the growth that came from it? Comment and share so we can connect. Love you guys. Let's grow.
